Rungna Dolphinarium | Munsu Water Park | Mirim Horse Riding Club
Recently in Pyongyang there were open several new massive parks and play grounds for Pyongyang citizens.
The Rungna People's Pleasure Ground is an amusement park opened in 2012. It has a dolphinarium, swimming pool, and a mini golf course. Entrance fee is about 5 Euro payable at spot.
Munsu Water Park is a state run water park was opened to the public in November 2013. The park covers an area of 15 hectares (37 acres) with indoor and oudoor activities available all year round. The park has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a volleyball court, a rock climbing wall, a hairdresser as well as a cafe and a bar. Entry to the park costs 10 Euro
The Mirim Riding Club in east Pyongyang (formerly known as the Equestrian Company of Korean People’s Army [KPA] Unit #534) was formally opened at a ceremony on 25 October 2013.
This new star attraction in located just 20 minutes drive from the city centre. The riding club features museum dedicated to the pictures of the leaders of the DPRK atop horses. In the center of the museum there is an amazing stuffed horse that was Kim Jong Un's favorite. You will have an opportunity to ride the actual horse, the guides will be very patient teaching to trot etc.
