Pyongyang Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) Kaesong Pyongyang

The 31st Pyongyang International Marathon is scheduled for April 13, 2025. This presents an exciting opportunity for AMATEUR runners to participate in this incredible sporting event. Whether you choose to run a 5K, 10K, half marathon, or full marathon, you'll do so in the enigmatic capital of North Korea, alongside both Korean and international professional and amateur runners. This marathon also offers a unique chance for foreigners in North Korea to interact with locals and gain firsthand insights into this fascinating country.
If running isn't your thing, you can still enjoy the experience by watching the marathon and a soccer match between local Korean teams at Kim Il Sung Stadium. Additionally, both before and after the marathon, you'll have the chance to explore the North Korean capital of Pyongyang through an extensive sightseeing program.
Travel to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), the strip of land that separates North and South Korea. We'll visit Kaesong, the ancient capital of Korea, which remains the almost only city in the DPRK to have preserved its original historical character, as it was spared from destruction during the Korean War (1950-53).
