The 31st Pyongyang International Marathon is scheduled for April 13, 2025. This presents an exciting opportunity for AMATEUR runners to participate in this incredible sporting event. Whether you choose to run a 5K, 10K, half marathon, or full marathon, you'll do so in the enigmatic capital of North Korea, alongside both Korean and international professional and amateur runners. This marathon also offers a unique chance for foreigners in North Korea to interact with locals and gain firsthand insights into this fascinating country.
If running isn't your thing, you can still enjoy the experience by watching the marathon and a soccer match between local Korean teams at Kim Il Sung Stadium. Additionally, both before and after the marathon, you'll have the chance to explore the North Korean capital of Pyongyang through an extensive sightseeing program.
